NH Primary Source: Progressive group's ‘spooky’ fundraiser to feature reading of ‘Vaccine Death Report’

Granite State Progress has a unique idea for event theme

THE 'DEATH REPORT.' Granite State Progress, a longstanding progressive activist group, has a unique idea for the theme of a pre-Halloween fundraiser. Zandra Rice Hawkins, executive director of GSP, tells New Hampshire Primary Source that on Wednesday, Oct. 27, the group will host a virtual fundraiser featuring New Hampshire political figures reading what she called “a highlight reel of disgraced Rep. Ken Weyler’s debunked ‘Vaccine Death Report,’ a jaw dropping document chock full of spook-tacular conspiracy theories.” “The audience will also hear some more sobering messages from our public health friends about why disinformation about COVID is so scary, and learn about Granite State Progress’ work to combat extremism and disinformation in the state,” Rice Hawkins said. Although Gov. Chris Sununu has denounced the spread of misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine, Rice Hawkins said that the governor and the GOP majorities at the State House “have been complicit in allowing the spread of disinformation and conspiracy theories to the detriment of the health and safety of Granite Staters. “Granite State Progress has a long history of tracking extremism in New Hampshire and we look forward to having a good laugh with our members as we work diligently to combat it,” she said.
