i have morgellons disease. so does my friend. CDC has finally acknowledged its existence. however, our doctors refuse to report to CDC that they have patients with morgellons. we've asked them to , but they won't. catch 22; we ourselves are not "allowed" to report our own condition to CDC!! so we remain in limbo. also, this makes getting any medical help or chances of getting disability next to nil. they all know my symptoms; it's been going on for 3 years so they know it's not made up.
the fact that i'm on medicaid really restrains me; i have to stay with the same doctor, even though she will not help me at all with this terrible disease. and i can only get certain treatments, which usually have to be given to me by lying about why i am getting it so i can have it covered.
it is taking forever for CDC to ask to hear US, the ones who actually have this affliction. oh well . end of story. i am trying for a third time to get disability. you can find out about morgellons on morgellons.org website....i think that will get anyone interested in learning about this online. main characteristics; large red scabs that feel like moving and itching parasites; when they are dug out, there is a definite shape, and often there are hair fibers of different colors attached. it attacks the nervous system; causes illness, fatigue, etc
