Mary

Las Vegas, NV

As a 58-year-old woman, I worry about the kind of health care my 88-year-old mother is receiving, and how many of the decisions about her care are done behind the scenes without her or her family's knowledge. I also worry about making sure my husband (he's being treated for cancer)is insured, as well as a 21-year-old daughter who works several part-time jobs which don't provide health benefits.

I'm tired of having to make any decisions about where I live and where I work totally on the basis of health insurance, rather than needs of various members of my family.

It makes NO SENSE to me that health care is delivered on a for-profit basis in this country. . . seems like keeping us unhealthy is to the health care industry's benefit.
