I am only 21 years old and owe thousands of dollars for health care, and I am relatively healthy! One emergency room visit ruined my credit by putting me in debt more than $4,000 dollars. After getting insurance which I had to pay for monthly, my lab and doctors have billed me more than 1,000 more! I stopped counting because of the tremendous stress that bills have caused me. I had to go to the doctor for stress and now I owe more. I am a regular person! No one deserves to have bills like this. Now that I have changed jobs, my doctors visits will be 5 times more expensive if they agree to continue seeing me without insurance, and perscriptions will be 8+ times more expensive. If I get insurance again they may use old things to keep me from their discounts. We have got to act now because lives are valuable things and our country needs to start caring about us instead of putting us in the poor house.
