First of all, thank you very much for what you are doing.
My husband lost his job because a big company came in and bought it for the assets and fired all the people, because people are not assets.
I am 55 and am unable to get insurance now, because I have an abnormal EKG. I have a normal stress test and the cardiologist said the abnormal EKG is just an normal variant for me. But I am unable to get insured because of this.
Also, I have arthritis very bad in one knee and truly need a knee replacement. I am just about disabled and hobble everywehre I go, but because this was diagnosed before my husband lost his job...........no insurance.
so here I am a young 55 year old woman who hobbles like I am a grandma. We have the techology to help me and I can't get help.
I cry every day. The pain is excruitating and no one will help.
Thank you for trying to help the millions of us who cannot get insurance and must live substandard lives. This should not happen in the riches country in the world. It just shouldn't.
