In 1984 my mother found a lump in her breast. She was at a new job and wasn't yet covered by her new employer's insurance so she kept it quiet for fear of being rejected for a pre-existing condition. She had to wait six months!

My mother died in 1999. The cancer had metastasized.

We need FREE UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, not affordable. Unfortunately, some of us can not afford "affordable" healthcare.
