When applying for Social Security disability status, you are turned down as a matter of policy. So you have to appeal this decision against you. This process can take as long as THREE YEARS!!!!!!
During this time you are not able to access Medicare which would be your only form of medical insurance if you can no longer work. The Feds want you to DIE before you can collect a single dime of your own paid for insurance which they force you to pay for!
This policy needs to be addressed agressively as the population ages. If the Feds won't do it, WE have to!
