Ashley

Rushville, IL

I have been without health insurance coverage since I was 18 and up until recently when my medication went over the counter I had to rely on someone else to pay for my medicine and because of the job shortage in this country I haven't been able to get a job with insurance benefits and I have not been able to get my eyes checked on a regular basis like I know I need to and I also need to keep track of my glucose levels because I have a condition that could turn into diabetes and have a borderline thyroid problem that I have not been able to hae checked for the last few years.
High blood pressure seems to run in the family and I need to be able to keep a close eye on that to hopefully prevent heart attack and stroke.
Cancer also runs in the family and I don't want to be caught off guard and not be able to treat something just because I can't afford to go to the Doctor or pharmacy.
