We just got our notice of increase on our health insurance premiums- a whopping 63% increase! We are a healthy family of 4 with young children. This increase represents an additional $6,000 a year to premiums- and this is for a plan that already has high deductibles and high out-of-pocket expenses we cover. We are shopping around for something else and have found the other coverages that we can afford will leave us more exposed in the event of a bad health occurrence. I think it is criminal that increases like this can happen!
