My grandson was covered on his mother's insurance until he turned 18, then he was dropped. He has no income, no insurance and he has had to go to the emergency room twice in the last 6 weeks. The bills are outragous, now hia mother is trying to get some help for him to pay the bills. I am concerned that they may say that I have to help. I am on Social Security and have my own medical problems. I think America needs a one payor system, eliminate the insurance companies, HMO's and PPO's. One system would cut down on the adminstration costs. Stop the drug companies from advertisin on TV, radio, in magazines and newspapers. Cut the pay of CEO's, stop paying doctors for prescribing the newer, more expensive drugs. This would bring down the cost of prescription medications.
