I currently am barely able to provide health care for my wife and my four-year-old son. It cannot afford health care for myself because I'm 52 years old, but with no health problems whatsoever. In the current economic shape we are in I can barely pay my mortgage, much less pay one more health-care premium for myself.
It seems there should be a way to provide affordable health care to all. If the monies were used from the profits that the insurance industry gained from managing the health care industry, it would go a long way to providing health care for all.
